Is Cannabis really legal

Yes, regulated medical cannabis became legal on 30 July 2001, and as of October 17, 2018 cannabis has been legal and available throughout the country for recreational use.

Can I operate a vehicle after using cannabis

No. Cannabis can create pychoactive effects that would impair driving. Impaired driving is against the law.

What Kind of Cannabis Products Can I Legally Purchase for Recreational Use

Currently, Canada regulations only the sale of dried cannabis flower, edibles, beverages, extracts, and vape pens in the recreational market. 

How do you use Cannabis?

Cannabis can be consumed via various methods such as smoking, vaporizing, drinking, eating, or ingesting (via the skin. IE Topicals).

What is Sativa

Sativa plants are a species of cannabis known for producing strains that often are characterized by taller plants, with thin leaves that are typically longer, pointed, and with fluffy buds. Sativas strains are typically reported to offer energizing and uplifting effects.

What is Indica

Indicas are species of cannabis plants known for producing shorter plants, that are typically denser than sativas, with thick leaves, and typically round buds. Indica strains are typically reported to offer relaxing, sleep-inducing effects.


What is Hybrid

Hybrid are strains that are a cross between two different strains. Due to the ingenuity and advancements growers constantly crossing genetics, most strains can be called Hybrids as they may not be 100% Sativa or Indica. Hybrids share mixed traits from their genetic lineage and have been reported to boast effects of both Indicas and Sativas but having a balanced effect.

What is THC

THC is the popular short form for tetrahydrocannabinol. THC is the main known cannabinoid that is responsible for creating the psychoactive effects or the "high" associated with cannabis.

What is CBD

CBD is short for cannabidiol. It's the other active component in cannabis. CBD does offer a variety of effects that are usually associated with some sort of relief, however, it does not offer any psychoactive effects and does not produce any high or intoxication.

What are Terpenes

Terpenes refer to the aromatic chemical profile of Cannabis, although terpenes are not something exclusive to Cannabis and occur in many plant and tree species. It is terpenes that are responsible for how the cannabis tastes, smells, and the type of effect you receive.

How do I purchase cannabis?

You can purchase Cannabis Online for pickup in-store, or directly in store

How Much Can I Order

Canadian laws limit anyone to a maximum of 30g of dried flower in one transaction. Therefore, the amount we can sell in one visit is 30g of Cannabis. Cannabis equivalencies for non-flower products are calculated automatically by our POS.

Do I need ID

Yes. All customers are subject to presenting photo identification to gain entry into the store to purchase cannabis and cannabis accessories. ID also will be required for curbside pick-up, and delivery.

Can I place an order without creating an account?

Yes. You can place an order as a guest with no obligation to create an account. We do however recommend that you create an account to make checkout easier, check your order history, or save your shopping basket or payment details for next time, and to be put on our mailing list to be kept up to date with exclusive deals!

Can I alter my order?

Sadly, we’re unable to modify your order once we’ve started processing it. If you need to order a greater quantity or an additional product, so long as it doesn't surpass 30g please place a new order online or if cancel the order to replace it with the correct order.

Where is my order confirmation?

This is automatically sent to your email address when you place an order. If you haven’t received your order confirmation within an hour, please contact us just in case there’s a problem with your order. Please check your mailbox’s spam or junk folder before contacting in case the order confirmation has been diverted there.

How do I cancel my order?

There is only a short amount of time between when you place your order and when we start processing it. If you contact us straight away after ordering, via sales@yourstorename.com, we may be able to cancel your order before it’s processed. If not, we’ll despatch your order and then you can return it to us if you wish upon receiving it.

Why has my order been canceled?

We typically only cancel orders if there’s a problem with stock, or if you’ve asked us to cancel. Normally the reason will be included in your cancellation email. We try to notify you as soon as possible so as to allow you to make an alternate order. Please accept our sincerest apologies if your order is canceled because of a problem at our end. We’ll always offer an alternative product and process your refund in full, as quickly as possible.


When will my order be ready.

Once an order is placed, you receive a text message letting you know it’s been received. We then get your order ready and send you another text to let you know once it's ready for pick-up or on its way for delivery. To complete the transaction, we require a valid photo ID and your order number if visiting the store for pick-up.

When can I place my order?

Orders can be placed at any time, however, will only be filled during store operating hours.

Click and Collect

AlphaBud offers Click and Collect and Delivery service. This enables you to purchase products online or by phone, pick up your orders at the store, or have it delivered within the specified delivery area.

I paid for multiple orders. Can I pick them up all at once.

You can pick up or get delivery for separate orders provided that together, they do not exceed the maximum purchase limit of 30 grams of dried cannabis or equivalent at a time. If the combined total exceeds the legal limit, you will only be able to attain one order at a time.


What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major forms of payment, including, cash, debit, or credit card. We also accept Bitcoin.


Can I return or exchange an item?

All unopened, and Non-Cannabis products can be returned within 14 days. You cannot return an item or exchange an item once opened. Accessories, Sale or Clearance items are considered final sale. 

How do I return an item?

Please contact our customer service team via help@yourstorename.com. Providing the return is within the 14-day cancellation period and meets our return criteria, we will issue you with a return note by email. You need to print this off and attach it to the packaging of the product when returning it to us. You will need to arrange and pay for suitable packaging when returning an item.

What do I do if I lose my return note?

We send return notes by email, so if you can locate the email we sent you, simply print off a new one. If you can’t find this email, please get in touch and ask for it to be resent to you.

My order has arrived but it’s not as I expected. What can I do?

In the rare event that your order arrives damaged or faulty, please take photos of the product in question and email our customer service team via hhelp@yourstorename.com with the details. We’ll respond within 48 hours. If you just don’t like the product for any reason, we’ll gladly accept it back as a return, providing it’s in “as new” condition, in its original packaging with all labels attached.

How long does it take to return an item?

This depends on the carrier or shipping method that you choose when returning your item. Once we receive your return, we’ll notify you by email. We aim to process refunds within three days after receiving the item into our warehouse, but it can take several days for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund into your account, or onto your card.
